"The real terrorism in this country is poverty"

Rex Castle, president of the Lubbock Red Cross Board and a senior vice president of human resources at Lubbock's State National Bank:

"This [Katrina] has shown me, and it should show us all, that the real terrorism in this country is poverty. This is something we need to keep thinking about. Not just now."
